Kyle Busch Returns to NASCAR™

After missing the first 11 races of the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season from injuries, Kyle Busch has returned to the track.

And he's determined to make the Chase for the Sprint Cup Championship.

Kyle broke his right leg and left foot in a bad crash during the season-opening Xfinity Series race at Daytona in February. Such injuries often take five or six months to fully heal. That is, if you're a normal human.

With the help of expert doctors and many hours in the rehabilitation gym, Kyle returned to the track for the May 16 Sprint All-Star Race, just three months removed from his crash.

"There's no doubt I ever thought about getting back in, being able to go back to Victory Lane and win championships," Kyle said.

He'll need to harness the same determination that got him back on the track if he wants to make the Chase. NASCAR granted him an injury waiver, but to be Chase-eligible, he must win a race and be in the top 30 in points by Sept. 12.
